Offered on eBay in October 2003; many thanks to abmafam for E-mailing me about it. A.L. Sachtleben was a committee member of the American Bottlers' Protective Association in the 1910s, as shown in The American Bottler, January 15, 1912.
Up for your bidding pleasure: Is an old soda bottle from New Jersey
CONDITION: Excellent, clean, no chips, no cracks, the bottle does have many air bubbles. There is a small black speck embedded in the glass bottom.
COLORS/DESCRIPTION: Blue in color, the raised letters read: "FRED. BRUNO SUCCESSOR TO A.L. SACHTLEBEN, REGISTERED HACKENSACK, N.J. THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD". On the back is a shield with an "S" and an "A", "S" inside the curves of the "S". Bottle is embellished with a raised diamond band around the throat.
Original metal clasp and rubber stopper still attached.
