History

Link:
| A
History of Brooklyn-Curtis Bay, Maryland mentions the John H.
Geis Lumber Mill. Bob took me on a tour of the mill when I was a
youngster; about all I remember about it is me accidentally running my
forehead into a board sticking out from a table. Bob then took me back
to his house for lunch and a game of chess with, I believe, his grandson,
Tommy Scruggs. Since I had
never played chess before, Bob directed my moves and "I" won, which,
understandably, irritated Tommy no end.
